How we use your details

DRAFT v0.1 · pending policy sign-off

Who we are

Time Served is the careers brand of the AMPM Group. The data controllers are AMPM Group Ltd together with the employing companies, Gemini AMPM Ltd and AMPM Building Services Ltd. We recruit for these companies only. We are not an employment agency and we never place candidates with other employers.

What we collect and why

When you apply for a role: your name, contact details, postcode, trade, CV and answers. We process these to take steps at your request before entering an employment contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). No consent box needed.

When you register for the talent pool: the same details, processed with your consent. You tick the box; you can untick it any time and unsubscribing is one click in any email we send.

Salary guide: if you ask for it, we use your email to send it and the next edition. Separate consent, separately withdrawable.

Please don't include health or other sensitive information in your CV or messages. We don't need it and we don't use it.

AI assistance, human decisions

We use AI tools to read CV text and suggest structured details (trade, tickets, years of experience) to our team, and CV text is shared with our AI provider for that purpose. Suggestions are decision support only: a human confirms every detail, a human makes every hiring decision, and nothing is ever rejected automatically.

How long we keep things

Unsuccessful applications: deleted 6 months after the role closes. Talent pool: 12 months from our last real contact; at 11 months we ask whether to keep you, and silence means deletion. If you're hired, your candidate record is deleted 6 months after you start. Deletion is real: files are destroyed, not archived.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare Inc (hosting and storage), our email provider (candidate emails), and our AI provider (CV text extraction, as above). Each works under a data-processing agreement. We never sell candidate data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent, any time. Email [email protected] and a human handles it, normally within 7 days and always within the statutory 30. If we've let you down, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
