Eleven trade families, two employers (Gemini AMPM Ltd and AMPM Building Services Ltd), sites across London, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Essex. Experienced engineers join the Academy ladder as Practitioners or Masters: nobody with fifteen years in starts at the bottom of anything.
Service, commissioning and install. BS 5839 work on Advanced, Kentec, Gent and Notifier kit.
Fire detection & alarm roles →Intruder, CCTV and access control. Texecom, Paxton and Hikvision backgrounds fit right in.
Security systems roles →BAFE ST104 or FIA units. A proper round, a stocked van, no chaos.
Extinguisher servicing roles →BAFE SP203-3 work: Kidde, Fike, 3M systems. A narrow pool; if this is you, we want to talk.
Gas & fixed suppression roles →LPCB / LPS 1048 experience, fitters and engineers both.
Sprinklers roles →AOV and smoke-vent systems to BS 7346. M&E engineers retraining welcome.
Smoke control & ventilation roles →BS 5266 testing and install: often paired with an electrical background.
Emergency lighting roles →Fire door inspection and install, firestopping. FIRAS, BM TRADA or FDIS.
Passive fire roles →18th Edition, NVQ Level 3. Commercial installs and maintenance.
Electrical roles →Gas Safe and mechanical trades across commercial buildings.
Plumbing, heating & mechanical roles →Off the tools, still in the trade. SMSTS/SSSTS, trade-to-office progression.
